English III is a two semester, two credit English class required for graduation. Students will study literature, writing and speaking. The literature includes short stories and a novel. The students work to improve writing skills through persuasive essays, literary analysis, and reflective writing. Speeches will range from persuasive to informative; class discussion is also expected. The English and reading standards will be addressed
